Presidential Volunteer Service Award

The President’s Volunteer Service Award is an opportunity to honor your most outstanding volunteers and recognize the impact they make.

Eligibility

  • 5 years and above.
  • Has to be US citizen or permanent resident(green card holder). 
  • Service in 12 months period ( July 1st-June 30th ).
  • Unpaid act which benefits others.

Services Not Qualified

  • Monetary donations
  • Political lobbying
  • Religious instruction/ Worship service/Proselytizing
  • Court ordered volunteer service

Logging Hours

  • Older girls will need to do at least 20 hours of voluntary work with/for/pertaining to Girls Scout
  • You can double dip
  • Keep a log with date, hours, and signature. The hours need to be signed by the troop leader or the authority in charge of volunteering event.
Submission
  • Please submit the hours no later than July 10th of the following year to [email protected].

  • Payment will be done by the troop.
