Service Unit Team (SUT)
Our Service Unit Team (SUT) is comprised of adult Girl Scout volunteers. The SUT facilitates activities in Dublin, Pleasanton and Sunol for our Girl Scout members. You can contact any member of the SUT individually (see below) or through our general email [email protected].
The SUT meets monthly July through June. All CRSU members are welcome to attend the SUT meetings although only those who are members of the SUT can vote. Those seeking approval for their events, flyers and/or budgets present to the SUT starting at 7:30 p.m., with the SUT meeting being called to order immediately following. SUT Job Descriptions
Leader Support Manager
Presides over Service Unit Team. Program Support Manager Works with Event Chairs on scheduling and planning, previews flyers and budget before they are presented to SUT and before distribution to CRSU members. Click here for additional information about Event Planning. Membership Support Manager
Organize troops, place girls and adults into existing troops and ensure that all girls are given the opportunity to have a Girl Scout experience. Treasurer Manages Service Unit finances and keeps records for council. Registrar Assists in the renewal process for troops and scouts in the service unit. Secretary Records minutes at SUT meetings, types and distributes correspondence as needed. Fall Sales Manager Coordinates sale within CRSU, compiles order and submits final report. Click here for additional information about Product Sales. Cookies Sales Manager Coordinates sale within CRSU, compiles order and submits final report. Also responsible for cookie costumes which are available for checkout. Click here for additional information about Product Sales. Cupboard Manager Runs the product sales cupboard(s). Website Manager Develops and maintains our website - [email protected]. Communications Coordinator The person who manages our newsletter database, and composes and sends out our newsletters. Older Girl (OG) Program Manager Works with Older Girl troops to provide programming specifically targeted at girls at the Cadette, Senior, and Ambassador level. Higher Awards Consultant Available to answer questions regarding higher awards. Adult Recognition Coordinator Keeps volunteer service records, coordinates timely submission of nominations for adult recognition at Council and Service Unit levels. Community Liaison The point person in our service unit for organizations seeking scouts to help with their event. Super Troop Coordinator The person who manages the Super Troop program including developing the flyer, publicizing it, and purchasing and distributing patches. First Aid Coordinator The person who maintains CRSU's first aid backpacks and trunks. Lending Library Keeper of Girl Guides, Journey & Leader Books, resource books, GPS Units and flags. School Organizers Organizes new troops at their school each fall, coordinates troop leaders (as needed) for school-specific events, and is a connection between leaders at the schools and the SUT. For more information on School Organizers, please click here. |
